This year i have been very lucky and had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas for 10 days this has given me a great chance to get out there and see the world a little bit more.
When in Vegas it seemed silly not to go and see some of the amazing places that are close by so on my trip i also had the chance to go and visit the grand canyon, hoover dam and many other places.
I have just picked out a couple of images that i took that i feel show just how amazing and different these place really are.
It was a great experience to be able to walk over the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge at the hoover dam this bridge is right in front of the hoover dam and the views that you get from it are incredible it really gives you the chance to take in just how large the dam is and it really dose make you think just how hard it must have been to build.
I do have more photos of the hoover dam i will add them at a later stage.
At its deepest point the north rim of the grand canyon is 6,000 feet deep, needless to say when you are standing on the side looking down and you can not see the bottom you do feel a little bit mad.
The Grand Canyon is one of the most amazing places i have ever seen i have been lucky enough to have now seen the west and north rim, i was surprised to see the difference between them. Even though i feel the images show how wonderful the grand canyon is you can not really take in how massive the canyon is unless you have been there, it really is one of the most breath taking and stunning place i have ever seen.
We was at the widest point of the canyon and this is an amazing 18 miles wide it was an odd feeling as when you was standing the looking to the other side you would not think it was that far.
Top of the world, this is the view from the top of the stratosphere tower, this stands at 1,149 feet the views from the top are worth a look....amazing.
You can not go to Las Vegas and not see one of these, this is what Vegas is know for every hotel lobby is full of bight colours and little noise and the odd cheer hear and there where someone has just won.
This is a couple of the new hotels that have gone up in Las Vegas over the past few years the buildings are very modern and and a little mad, its interesting to see how the strip is starting to change when you compere the older hotels to the new ones.
